New Tek has a BBS at (913) 271-9299. On their BBS is a patch that is a
bug fix for Lightwave 3.5. Since I "patched" my Modeler, I haven't had as
many crashes, and other little annoying things. Maybe it's just my
imagination. The segment rendering thing gets me too. Check to see how
much available RAM you have, and adjust accordingly just before rendering.
